This coin features a double die obvers with doubling visible on upper letters, the “9” in 1980, and the “D” mint mark is solid. The reverse features an off-center strike and double die. Doubling is visible in all letters with some containing small strikethroughs. Doubling is also visible around the top of the eagle’s head with strikethroughs in its beak.
